Privacy Policy

FitShare is a fitness journal and story-sharing app for iOS. This policy explains what information the app accesses and what happens to it. The short version: FitShare currently does not require accounts, does not upload your health data to FitShare servers, and does not display advertising.

Health data

FitShare reads data from Apple Health only with your explicit permission, and only to build your journal and story cards. FitShare only requests access to the HealthKit data types required for the features you use. The data FitShare may read is:

FitShare has read-only access: it never writes, deletes, or modifies data in Health. Health and fitness data is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to FitShare servers, sold, or used for advertising.

You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices (or Settings → Privacy & Security → Health), by turning off FitShare.

Sharing stories

Sharing happens only when you explicitly export a story. The exported image contains only what you chose to display, and is handed to the system share sheet — the destination (Instagram, Messages, AirDrop, Save to Photos, and so on) is the same as for any photo you share from your phone. FitShare does not upload shared images anywhere itself.

Other data stored on your device

The app stores a small number of preferences locally on your device (for example, distance and energy units, and appearance). These never leave your device.

Analytics and third-party services

FitShare currently contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking. Apple may provide standard diagnostic information through its own platforms. If analytics are added in the future, they will be limited to anonymous, aggregate usage statistics, and this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected before any such service is enabled.

Purchases

FitShare Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple's App Store; FitShare does not receive or store any payment details.

Children

FitShare does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It does not collect personal information at all — the app never asks for your name, email address, or any other identifier.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
